Product photographs show existing designs. Material-code assignments and new glitter combinations are confirmed separately; a displayed product is not a guarantee that every chart material can be used in that construction.

Choosing a liquid glitter compact mirror involves more than picking a favorite color. The glitter finish, particle size, decorative shapes and background artwork work together to create the moving effect. A combination that looks attractive in a material swatch may look different once it is placed inside the mirror’s decorative window.

Use the color chart to narrow your choices, then approve the combination in a physical product sample. This guide explains how to build a clear selection brief for a branded gift, retail collection or promotional project.

SELECTION STEP

Start with the product and artwork

Choose the mirror style before finalizing the glitter mix. The shape and size of the decorative window affect how much of the background artwork is visible and how the floating pieces are seen.

CHOIZIN’s existing quicksand mirror collection includes round, square and rectangular designs. Treat these as starting points for discussion rather than assuming that every glitter combination fits every construction. Share a product link or reference image, together with your logo and artwork, so the proposed mix can be assessed against the actual design.

02

SELECTION STEP

Choose a color and finish together

A color name alone does not fully describe a glitter finish. A metallic-looking gold, an iridescent finish and a holographic finish can create different appearances under the same lighting. Select the finish as well as the color code.

For a clear starting point, choose one main color and, if needed, one accent color. Pink with a gold accent, blue with silver-looking particles, or a soft pearl-like palette are possible design directions—not fixed recipes. Compare each against the background artwork: light particles can lose contrast on a light background, while a busy mix can compete with a detailed illustration.

Photographs and screens are useful for shortlisting, but they do not establish an exact brand-color match. If matching a brand color matters, send a physical reference or a color specification and confirm the result on a sample.

Compare the finish before choosing the color code
Finish direction What to compare What to confirm in a sample
Metallic-looking glitter A reflective color accent that can stand out against a contrasting background. Whether reflections obscure the artwork or make the mix appear too strong.
Holographic glitter Multicolor flashes that change with lighting and viewing angle. Appearance in ordinary indoor light as well as brighter directional light.
Iridescent glitter Shifting color highlights that may complement a softer or layered palette. How the highlights change over the actual printed background.
Pearl-like effects A softer shimmer direction for shell, floral or pastel-themed artwork. Whether the sparkle remains visible without losing the gentle look.
Decorative sequins Recognizable shapes such as stars, hearts, circles or flowers. Shape visibility, suitable size and movement inside the selected window.

These are visual selection directions, not material-performance ratings. The exact finish depends on the selected code and product sample.

Three ways to build a starting palette

Soft floral

Start with a pink or pearl-like direction and one flower shape. Check that the petals remain recognizable and the glitter leaves the floral artwork readable.

Night-sky theme

Discuss blue or purple as the main direction, a silver-looking accent and a star shape. Compare the effect against both light and dark areas of the illustration.

Celebration or gift theme

Explore a warm gold-looking accent with a clear background or restrained main color. Compare a simpler mix against a more sparkling version before choosing.

These examples are design briefs, not confirmed recipes or stock combinations. Selected materials, proportions and availability are agreed after feasibility review.

Photographed material references

SELECTION STEP

Compare particle sizes

Fine glitter can provide a more continuous-looking shimmer, while larger pieces are usually easier to distinguish individually. A mix of sizes may add visual layers, but the result also depends on the amount of material, liquid formula and available space inside the decorative window.

Do not select particle size as a shortcut to a promised flow speed. Smaller does not automatically mean slower, and larger does not automatically mean faster. Ask to compare the proposed combinations in the same product construction, then observe movement, settling and visibility.

Particle size is a design choice, not a flow-speed guarantee
Mix direction Potential visual benefit Watch for
Fine glitter as the main element A more continuous-looking shimmer with fewer individually dominant pieces. An overly dense mix can make the background look hazy.
Larger particles as an accent More distinct individual flashes or visible decorative elements. Oversized pieces can dominate a small window or hide artwork.
Fine glitter with selected sequins A shimmer base plus recognizable thematic shapes. Too many competing shapes can make the design harder to read.

Control one variable at a time

For a useful sample comparison, keep the mirror construction and artwork the same. Compare the proposed particle sizes first, then the decorative-shape amount or mix density. If several things change together, it becomes harder to identify why one sample looks better.

Nominal size references

Compare photographed particle sizes

These photographs are material-size references from the chart. Use the labels to discuss a shortlist; the images are enlarged for viewing and are not shown at actual size. These references are not directly comparable tests of flow speed.

Confirm the particle material, shape, size and suitable amount for the selected decorative chamber. The same size may appear different in a different finish or lighting condition.

04

SELECTION STEP

Choose sequin shapes with a purpose

Stars, hearts, flowers and circles can support a particular design theme. Start with one main decorative shape rather than including many unrelated shapes. For example, stars may complement a sky-themed illustration, while flowers may support floral artwork.

Confirm the shape and its size together. A large shape may dominate a small window or cover part of the artwork; a small shape may become difficult to identify in a dense mix. Decorative shapes in the chart are references for selection. Availability and suitability for the chosen mirror need to be confirmed before sampling.

Check the usable window, not just the outside mirror size

The mirror’s overall dimensions do not tell you the usable size of its decorative chamber. Ask whether the proposed sequin fits the selected window and leaves sufficient room for movement. Also compare how the shape looks when it turns sideways or overlaps other pieces.

Keep the printed design readable

Identify the important parts of the artwork—such as the brand name, a face or a short message—and review how the moving mix passes over them. Logo placement and the decorative window should be considered together. A successful mix complements the design instead of continually hiding its main detail.

SELECTION STEP

Use the color chart to record a shortlist

For each candidate, record the series name, full color code, particle size and decorative shape. Include the relevant page or a marked screenshot when a visual reference will help.

A useful brief might say: “Blue as the main color, silver-looking accents and one star shape; please recommend suitable material codes and sizes for this mirror.” This communicates the intended appearance without assuming an untested formula. If you already have selected codes, list them exactly as shown in the chart.

The chart is a raw-material selection reference. It does not mean that every listed material is suitable for every liquid formula, or that a material classification certifies the finished mirror. Confirm compatibility and any required tests for the actual project.

Turn a code selection into a complete specification

A color code identifies a material reference; it does not by itself specify the particle size, shape, mix proportion or finished flow behavior. Keep these fields separate when communicating. If a code or material description is unclear, attach the marked chart image and ask for confirmation rather than substituting a similar code.

A clear shortlist

Option A: one main color, fine glitter and one decorative shape.
Option B: the same color direction with a different accent or particle-size mix.
Use the same mirror and artwork for both options.

SELECTION STEP

Check the effect in a physical sample

Review the sample with the intended artwork and logo in place. Tilt and turn the mirror under consistent lighting, and check the following points:

  • Color and contrast: Does the mix complement the artwork and leave important details visible?
  • Movement and settling: Do the particles move and settle in a way that suits the intended effect? Record a short video if motion is important to approval.
  • Distribution: Look for unwanted clumping, pieces sticking to the window or a mix that appears too dense or too sparse.
  • Appearance and construction: Check the clarity of the window and any unintended discoloration, cloudiness or leakage.

Approve the visible effect together with the agreed material choices. A satisfactory appearance check does not replace any durability, transport or product testing required for the order.

Use the same review method for each candidate sample
Check How to review What to record
Color and lighting Compare in normal indoor light and another relevant lighting condition. Color reference, background visibility and the lighting used.
Movement Use the same tilt or turn sequence for each candidate sample. A short video and a description of the preferred effect.
Settling and redistribution Let the sample rest, then gently move it again. Whether the mix redistributes as intended; any persistent clumps or sticking.
Artwork and logo Review the finished design with the selected mix in motion and at rest. Whether essential artwork and logo details stay sufficiently readable.
Window and construction Inspect clarity and unintended bubbles, cloudiness or visible leakage. Photos of any concern and the sample identification.
Final approval Record the agreed configuration and keep the approved sample reference. Product style, material codes, sizes, shapes and the accepted appearance.

Air space or a visible bubble may depend on the product design. Confirm the acceptable appearance rather than assuming every visible bubble is a defect. Appearance review is separate from any required durability, transport or other product tests.

SELECTION STEP

Send a clear inquiry

To discuss a custom liquid glitter compact mirror, send:

  • A product link, preferred shape or reference image.
  • Your artwork and logo placement requirements.
  • The shortlisted series, color codes, particle sizes and sequin shapes—or a description of the effect you want.
  • Estimated quantity, packaging requirements, delivery destination and target date.

CHOIZIN can review the proposed product and customization requirements with you. Material availability, feasibility, sampling arrangements and pricing should be confirmed for the specific project.

A sample-request brief you can adapt

Product
Product URL or SKU; preferred mirror and decorative-window style.
Design
Artwork file or reference; logo position and important details to keep visible.
Color direction
Main color, accent color and desired finish; shortlisted series and full codes, if selected.
Particles & shapes
Preferred sizes, main sequin shape and intended mix density—or ask for recommendations.
Appearance reference
Marked chart images and a video or photo showing the intended visual effect.

If the exact material combination is still undecided, describe the appearance you want and request suitable options. It is better to confirm a feasible combination than to submit an incomplete formula as a final specification.

Before you choose

A few useful answers.

Can I match the glitter to my brand color?

You can provide a physical reference or a color specification for discussion. Glitter reflects light, and the background and liquid affect its appearance, so an exact match cannot be established from a screen image alone. Confirm the selected direction in the finished product sample.

Can glitter colors and sequin shapes be mixed?

A mixed design can be proposed, but the materials must be compatible with the chosen liquid formula and decorative chamber. Agree the available codes, sizes, shapes and intended density during sample development.

Does larger glitter flow faster?

Not necessarily. Movement depends on the particle material and geometry, the liquid formula, the amount of material and the chamber design. Compare samples made in the same product construction rather than judging flow speed from size alone.

Are every color and shape in the chart available for every mirror?

The chart is a selection reference, not a universal availability list. Confirm the proposed material and shape for the selected mirror. Some references may need a different size, mix or construction to achieve the intended effect.

What should I do if the sample looks too busy?

Try reducing the number of colors or decorative shapes, or compare a less dense mix. Keep the artwork and product construction unchanged so the effect of each adjustment is easier to assess.

How do I request the color chart and a quotation?

Use the quote page and include the preferred product, quantity and customization requirements. Ask for the glitter color and shape chart, and share any shortlisted codes or marked images. Availability, sampling arrangements and pricing are confirmed for your project.
